Girl Scouts USA

When I started at the Girl Scouts, they had just gone through a soft rebrand, and needed to catch up on that with regards to their marketing materials. Initially, I was brought on to handle social media and other marketing work, such as invitations for award ceremonies. I also took on the redesign of internal and external presentation decks, updating imagery, graphics, and feel of these materials to fall in line with the new branding.

Inspiring messaging for Black History Month, International Women’s Day, & GS Gold Awards not only aligned well with the brand, but were important for the young scouts to hear.

The updated pitch book for Girl Scouts USA provided various templated slides for use across internal and external presentations and pitches. Made to align with an updated look and feel across the organization, it heavily features photography, brand colors & symbols, as well as bold and recognizable typography.

The new typefaces introduced as part of the rebrand during my time there were easy to mishandle; I created a simple guide for their councils across the US to help avoid misuse after my departure.
